~the end of an era~

A while ago Laura hosted a lolita panel at Anime PDX about the basics of the fashion as well as its history and evolution, and had a group of us representing various styles. I picked OTT sweet, and I tried to go for the crazy 2009 early decololi look!

Rundown
Headbow: Angelic Pretty
Bolero: Angelic Pretty
OP: Angelic Pretty
Socks: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Secret Shop
I'm wearing like 4 rings, 2 necklaces, 6 enamel pins, and a ton of hair clips. If you want to know where something specific is from, leave a comment!

This weekend is like the first time in forever I haven't worn lolita. It feels good to just veg out with my boyfriend and not worry about getting dressed up! But I like being cute too. The eternal struggle.

Lolita Wine Tasting Vacation ♡ Day 2

Before our trip to Yakima, Laura had reached out to the lolita community in town to set up a meetup with our group. I've honestly never hung out with another lolita community, so I was super excited!

Here's what I wore:

Rundown
Headbow: Angelic Pretty
Bolero: Angelic Pretty
Onepiece: Angelic Pretty
OTKs: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Secret Shop
Accessories: 6% Dokidoki, AP, handmade

We met up at a really cute coffee shop in downtown Yakima that used to be a train station. We had a private room we rented, but that didn't stop people from coming up to the window and staring in like we were zoo animals :^)

Cold-brewed iced tea and a scone! The iced tea reminded me of Dunkin Donuts iced tea, which I was obsessed with when I visited Boston a few years ago.

Waiting for people~
I love Laura's jewelry!

We met up and ate, then went on the hunt for a spot to take pictures. The Yakima community is small, so 3 members joined us!

We are very serious about making sure everyone gets good outfit photos!

Group photo!

Shoe shot!

It was HOT! I'm a Portland baby, I don't know what the bright thing in the sky is! After photos we bailed to the mall and got smoothies.

Nicole and I in VS (with panties behind us lol).

Yakima was fun! Laura and I are thinking of visiting again for their anime con in the fall. Meeting new lolitas was great, it makes me want to start going to convention lolita events and stuff again! Honestly, there's a lot of the Portland community I haven't met yet too... I'm shy but I'll try to be more outgoing!

By the way, I've been making jewelry lately and opened a shop. Here's a few things I've made!

My shop is The Candy Nebula! Feel free to check it out :)

I have a couple new AP and Baby pieces that I've bought and haven't worn yet, I can't wait til I can! My life has felt good lately, and I've really been enjoying blogging. I hope you enjoy reading my blog!
