Berrisom Peel-Off Lip Tint/Memebox Review (20% OFF LINK)

I think I first heard about Memebox when Nylon magazine announced their collaboration shadow/blush palette. Memebox is a Korean cosmetics shop, selling popular Korean skincare and makeup for reasonable prices, along with their own brand of products. I've been researching Korean skincare routines, and took my first step by ordering from Memebox. I mainly ordered COSRX's Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream, but threw this Berrisom lip tint in my order to get free shipping.

The full name of the product is "Oops My Lips Tint Pack," and the color I got is Bubble Pink. This lip tint is unlike anything I've ever used, which is probably why it's so popular in South Korea. It applies thick and sticky, dries, peels off like a film, and leaves your lips tinted underneath. Because it's a tint, there's no transfer when wearing it. You can also layer a balm or gloss over it to keep your lips hydrated.

Overall, I love it! It's so easy to use. At first I thought it was messy, but even a slightly messy application gives good results. The color is super cute and subtle. I'm thinking of picking up more in Lovely Peach and Sexy Red.

As for the 20% off I mentioned in the title, using this link to shop gives you 20% off. That's a nice little chunk of money off! Memebox also offers free express shipping on orders over $30, which is why I ended up getting this tint! They also carry Etude House and Tonymoly products along with tons of other brands.

I'm already planning my next order and I definitely don't need more makeup... orz
Does that ever happen to you? Is there such a thing as too much makeup? Also, what Korean beauty products should I try? Comment and let me know!

[Haul] December Makeup

1.jpg

In December I ended up with a lot of new makeup, mostly due to suggestions and ideas I got from Pinterest or sales I found. Here's a little haul post of some of what I picked up~

Urban Decay "Vice 4" Palette

Originally I was going to get the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette, but this one caught my eye instead. I've been wanting to play around with more colors, so it's perfect to experiment with!

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in "Solstice"

Pictures don't do this shadow justice. It's so sparkly and iridescent irl, I've been layering it with grey and bronze shadows for a really futuristic look.

Nyx Liquid Suede Lipstick in "Tea and Cookies"

After this line of liquid lipstick came out, I seriously couldn't find it anywhere. I wandered into Ulta on a whim and there it was!

Nyx High Definition Blush in "Taupe"

This was recommended to me on Pinterest because although it's technically a blush, it works amazingly for contouring pale skin. I'm obsessed! All other bronzers I've tried have been too orange, this is easily the best I've ever used.

Tonymoly Peach Hand Lotion & Lip Balm

These went on sale at work, so I had to get them. I also picked up 6 sheet masks haha.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in "Always Red"

The product is called a stain, but it's a liquid lipstick. I love this formula, I picked up this color because I was $11 away from renewing my VIB status :P

Too Faced Shadow Insurance in "Candlelight"

This primer is amazing under glitter! As always, I love Too Faced's packaging.

Lorac "Skinny Marsala" Palette

I've been interested in this palette for a while, so I was surprised to see it at a store! I guess marsala isn't in anymore, but I love it as a color in makeup.

Doing my makeup has been really fun with all these new things to try! Sometimes I'll spend an hour doing my makeup... Weird because I used to aim to do it in under 10 minutes lol.

By the way I only just recently made my Pinterest so I need more people to follow!! Let me know what your account is!

A Good Day

Have you ever had one of those days? The ones where the stars seem to just align, and everything goes perfectly? Maybe something amazing happens, or just a series of happy little things. The bus comes on time, you happen to snag a great deal while shopping, your eyeliner is perfect without even trying. Something like that, right?

I was lucky enough to have a really nice day! I didn't expect it; I was asked to come in at 8 am (instead of my normal 11 am) to work, and was dreading it. But things seemed to just fit perfectly into place. To start off my day, I received 3 pairs of jeans from work that had been in a processing period of a few weeks!

DL1961, Joe's, and J Brand! The only high-end denim I've worn is AG, so I'm really excited to try these out. From trying them on at work, the J Brands are my favorite.

During my lunch, I bought some goodies at Lush!

I bought Ocean Salt (a face and body wash), Flying Fox (a shower gel), and Tender is the Night (massage bar). The shower gel and massage bar are both really heavily scented with jasmine, my new favorite scent. I also got samples of Vanishing Cream and Grease Lightning, a combo of moisturizers that I'm trying out.

The salesgirl who rang me up also gave me Lush's catalog/magazine, and made sure to show me the photo of this cool guy with flowers in his beard!

The photography of the products is so lovely, plus it's awesome to see everything. I like to make a shopping list before buying stuff at Lush (not that it keeps me from buying other stuff...), so it's really useful for me!

Among other good things that happened to me during the day, I also got a package when I got home!

You know when you see this on a package, it's gonna be good~

Zee emailed me yesterday saying I should get my package within days, and sure enough, here it is!

This hat is SO gorgeous! I've been wanting a cute snapback for a while now, but I couldn't find anything that really interested me. Super Orange (a company I seriously adore), came out with their own, and I preordered it the day it went up! I can't wear hats to work, but I definitely know what I'll be wearing on my days off.

I think my favorite part is the gold, glittery thread used in the outline of the design, it's such a lovely touch. Right now it's sold out on the website, but if you contact Zee and tell him how much you want one... Maybe he'll order more? ;)

I've been meaning to make a big post of all my Super Orange gear, and I have a picture wearing this hat on my instagram. I think I have 4 SO shirts now? And I still want to extend my collection, hehe...

Anyways, I hope you have a great day too! I'll send you all the positive energy I can, ok? <3
